Ginseng Bird’s Nests
(Serve 1 person, preparation time 2 hours)

 

 

泡参燕窝
(一人份,准备时间2小时)

 

Ingredients

5 grams of dried bird's nest
10 small cubes of rock sugar
15 slices ginseng
300ml of drinking water

材料

白燕窝5

冰糖10

泡参15

300毫升清水

 

Preparation Method

 

Soak the bird's nest in a bowl of lukewarm clean water. Wait 1 hour. It will expand and soften.

Drain the water from the bowl to remove the visible dirt and the remaining tiny feathers. Do this few times until it is spotlessly clean.

 

Place all the above ingredients in a clean tureen/bowl with cover and double-boil for 1 hour with medium fire. Serve it warm or cold.

 

做法

 

白燕窝一盏,事先用冷水浸泡一小时。将泡软的燕窝撕成细条,然后就是挑出里面的杂质,一般都是些细微的燕毛。

 

洗净后将燕窝放入炖盅里倒一杯清水,加入泡参,隔水炖煮一小时,待温后饮用
